ProPresenter Setup

  • Open Mail
  • Check for any mail messages regarding the current service. Download any song tracks or graphics that have been sent. Song tracks go into “Audio->Song Tracks” folder. Graphics for announcements go into the “DROPBOX->PROPRESENTER LIBRARY PRO 6 MEDIA->IMAGES” folder.
  • Quit Mail.
  • Open ProPresenter
  • Add Playlist for service
    • -> New PCO Playlist
    • -> Select the plan for today
  • LINK First Song (“Walk-In Music”) to “_Walk-In Music FIRST SERVICE” (or SECOND SERVICE or WEDNESDAY)
  • LINK Second Song (“Countdown Video”) to “ Before Service Announcements”
  • Verify that all slides are correct and up-to-date. Disable any that are not. Enable any that need to be enabled.
  • LINK “Opening” to “_Opening”
  • Set Arrangements for all songs to match PCO
  • Apply Template “Main Songs->Lower Third Music” to all songs
  • Open Cue Palette (Keyboard shortcut—>Command-Shift-C)
  • Add Cue “Prop – [name]” for [person who speaks in Opener] to Slide 1 of 1st song.
  • Add Cue “Clear Props” to Slide 2 of 1st song.
  • Save [Command-S]
  • LINK “71o1” to “_71o1”
  • Drag correct 71o1 Video from “Informational” folder to Slide 1
  • Set “Media Cue Behavior” to “Foreground”
  • In “Media Properties” set “Media Cue Behavior” to “Stop”
  • “Stage Display” Cue on Slide 1 should be set to “Change Layout, Video”
  • “Go to Next Timer” Cue on Slide 1 should be set to 0s.
  • Enable/Disable Slide 2 depending on need
  • “Stage Display” Cue on Slide 2 should be set to “Change Layout, Preview”
  • LINK “Transition” to “_Transition”
  • Slide 1 should have “Stage Display, Change Layout, Video” Cue.
  • Slide 2 should have Logo (set to Foreground video)
  • LINK “Message” to the appropriate sermon in the Library
  • There should be 2 blank slides at the beginning of message, before Title Slide. If not, add them.
  • Add Cue “Stage Display, Change Layout, Message” to Slide 1.
  • Add Cue “Clear All” to Slide 1.
  • Add Cue “Timer, Time Remaining [1st/2nd/Wed], Reset/Start Timer” to Slide 1.
  • Add Cue “Stage Display, Suppress Slide on Output” to Slide 2.
  • Add Cue “Props” for Pastor, or appropriate person, on Slide 2.
  • Add Cue “Clear Props” on Slide 3 (title slide)
  • Add Cue “Props” for Bug for [current series] on Slide 3
  • On Wednesdays, Add Cue “Props, Text #” on Slide 3
  • There should be 2 blank slides at the end of the message. If not, add them.
  • Add Cue “Stage Display, Enable Slide on Output” to next-to-last Slide
  • Add Cue “Stage Display, Pre/Post Service Video” to Last Slide
  • Add Cue “Clear Props” to Last Slide
  • On Sunday, LINK “Offering Sunday” to “_Offering”
  • On Wednesday, LINK “Offering Wednesday” to _Offering”
  • On Sunday, Slide 1 should have Prop for Offering; Slide 2 should have “Clear Props” Cue.
  • On Wednesday, Slide 1 should have Prop for person receiving Offering; Slide 2 should have “Clear Props” Cue, then Prop for Offering; Slide 3 should have “Clear Props” Cue.
  • If Choir and/or Special Music is in the list AND if Audio is coming from Video, add Audio Cue(s) to first slide of Choir and/or Special Music
  • Read Planning Center plan for service to determine if other cues, props, videos or songs need to be placed.
  • There are entries in Library for “_Baby Dedication”, “_Presentation”, “_Transition 2”, “_Missionary”, and “_CHAIRS” if needed.
